Our Story
Originally started in 1992, Ricky Nixon called upon all that was taught to him by our father Henry Nixon, the founder of Nixon’s Upholstery Services who along with our mother Viola dominated the upholstery business here in The Bahamas for many years. Their work graced the lobbies, halls and rooms of some of the most iconic hotels in Nassau, such as The Montague, The British Colonial and The Royal Victorian, just to mention a few.
Our father’s legacy continued with Ricky and stretched to the Abacos with our brother Kirk.
Cover Up is ideally located on the beautiful island of New Providence (Nassau) in The Bahamas. Our sun kissed islands nestled in our turquoise waters has always been the inspiration for bringing outdoor living INSIDE.
